Manny Acevedo Named Teacher of the Month by Future Goals STEM Organization

The #MSUrbanSTEM family would like to congratulate Manny Acevedo on being named Teacher of the Month by Future Goals, an organization sponsored by NHL and NHL Player’s Association. The organization is on a mission to energize and motivate today’s student to love Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). They closely compare the game of hockey to STEM learning, referring to thermodynamics, speed, statistics, and the evolution of equipment.  Manny was a member of our first cohort and he continues to keep the love of STEM education alive and growing! Congratulations Manny!  We are proud of you!
